What is the Clergy Wellness Hub?

Early on in my work, I sat with a client who was a nurse. She had experienced an unrelenting number of patient deaths in a short period of time. The pace was intense. The emotional weight was constant. And slowly, something shifted—not in her competence, but in her confidence.

She began to wonder if she was a “bad nurse.” Then she wondered if she had chosen the wrong field altogether.

That moment stayed with me—not because she lacked skill or compassion, but because burnout had quietly distorted how she saw herself. Work she once felt deeply called to do had become something she questioned, not because she no longer cared, but because she was exhausted.

What struck me most was this: the problem wasn’t her calling—it was the lack of structure supporting it.

That experience clarified something essential. When people who care deeply begin to doubt their worth or their place, it’s rarely a personal failure. It’s often a sustainability failure.

The Clergy Wellness Hub was created to address that gap.

While the Hub began with clergy and spiritual caregivers, its purpose has always been broader: helping people who serve, lead, teach, heal, and carry responsibility for others sustain the work they love without losing themselves in the process.

Through training, workshops, and organizational support, the Clergy Wellness Hub helps workplaces move beyond wellness as an individual burden and toward shared frameworks that strengthen both people and the systems they serve. Because no one should have to abandon meaningful work simply because the structure around them makes it impossible to sustain.
